Enabling the Kitchen Feature:

1. To use the kitchen feature, you need to enable it.
2. Go to settings --> Business Settings -> modules. and enable kitchen.

Can a separate printer be added for printing Kitchen Orders?

Kitchen Order Ticket printer can be added to the system. 

1. First configure the printer to your device and copy the name.
2. In Al Urooj POS, go to Settings --> Receipt Printers -->Add Printer.
3. Add the printer Name, Connection Type and IP address.
4. Save it. 

NOTE: For kitchen orders to be printed, you must add the kitchen items. While adding product, select kitchen printer in KOT printer field. 

Completing kitchen orders from kitchen screen /POS screen

Kitchen Screen

• Orders added here remain until manually updated.

• Kitchen Staff can update the status as cooked by clicking "marked as booked".

• This action indicates that the item is ready to be served.

• Cashier can also open the kitchen screen and mark order as cooked. This function is added to assist businesses which don't have a separate kitchen screen.
